Rally of solidarity with Russia takes place in Verona after Crocus City Hall attack

ROME, March 25. /TASS/. Several dozen people lit candles in downtown Verona, Italy, in remembrance of the victims of the Crocus City hall attacks. According to the participants, the rally was carried out as a sign of solidarity with Russia and its people that was brutally attacked.

The participants included the president and members of the "Veneto - Russia" association, which organized the event, together with the "Verona per la Liberta" organization.

On Saturday, the association sent a letter to Russian Ambassador Alexey Paramonova, expressing condolences and support. According to the Russian envoy, the Russian embassy has received over 10,000 messages. Italians and compatriots continue bringing flowers and lighting candles near the embassy building, having created a makeshift memorial.
