Crimean leader debunks evacuation rumors

It is reported that all measures necessary to ensure the security of the peninsula are being taken

SIMFEROPOL, November 22. /TASS/. There is no evacuation underway from the town of Armyansk in northern Crimea and this information is just fake news by the Kiev regime, Head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday.

Earlier, pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels spread information about some alleged evacuation from the town of Armyansk due to bombardments by Kiev. Advisor to Crimea’s Head Oleg Kryuchkov branded those reports to be fake news, specifying that this time Ukrainian resources are fabricating fraudulent news items allegedly posted by Russian servicemen.

"This is false. There is no evacuation. All measures necessary to ensure the security of our peninsula are being taken. I strongly urge everyone to take guidance only from trusted sources of information," the Crimean leader wrote.

He noted that "the enemy is doing everything to destabilize the situation on the peninsula." "I guarantee that on the instructions of [Russian] President [Vladimir Putin] I am working around the clock to ensure the guaranteed security of Crimea and Crimean residents. Nothing is threatening Russia’s Crimea as the subject of the Russian Federation. And all claims by our foes that they will be in Crimea - we will see who will be where in summer," he emphasized.
