MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. The number of questions submitted for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s annual Q&A session has surpassed 500,000, the Rossiya-24 TV channel reports.
Most inquiries and requests focus on transportation development, housing affordability, healthcare, and social allowances. Additionally, many complaints were related to the quality of tap water. "Unfortunately, people are complaining about rusty tap water. These complaints were reported from the Saratov, Novosibirsk, Moscow, and Karelia regions," Dmitry Pankov, head of the regional branch of the All-Russia People's Front in the Sakha Region, told the broadcaster.
According to the Vesti Telegram channel, Russians continue to prefer submitting questions via telephone, text, and MMS messages. As of 9:00 a.m. Moscow time (6:00 a.m. GMT), a total of 248,492 phone calls, 111,268 texts, and 19,413 MMS messages were recorded. In addition, 11,429 written questions were submitted.
The Year in Review with Vladimir Putin program’s website received 30,132 questions, while 96,710 messages and 1,485 videos were submitted through social media platforms.
Putin’s combined annual press conference and question-and-answer session will be held on December 19.
