BEIJING, December 12. /TASS/. Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council and United Russia Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has met with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his visit to Beijing.
Last time Medvedev came to China was in December 2022. He then held a number of meetings with his Chinese counterparts, discussing both bilateral and international topics. However, contacts are constantly underway in various formats, including between the parties.
Medvedev and Xi Jinping have met numerous times. Their first meeting was held in 2008, during Medvedev's state visit to China as the Russian president.
Since 2012, Medvedev has maintained contact with Xi in his roles as prime minister, and more recently, as deputy chairman of the Security Council and chairman of the ruling party.
