Seven Ukrainian drones taken down and jammed in Sevastopol — governor

According to the city’s rescue service, no damage was reported in the city, and its airspace is being monitored for threats

SEVASTOPOL, December 11. /TASS/. The Russian military has repelled an attack of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on Sevastopol, taking down and jamming seven drones, Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said.

"Our military repelled the attack of the Ukrainian armed forces. By now, air defenses and Black Sea fleet units have taken down five drones, while two more have been jammed by electronic warfare systems," he wrote on Telegram.

According to the city’s rescue service, no damage was reported in the city, and its airspace is being monitored for threats. All city services have been put on high alert.

An air raid warning was issued in Sevastopol on Wednesday evening. Public transport services and maritime traffic were briefly halted.
