GROZNY, December 12. /TASS/. A drone was intercepted over barrack buildings of the Kadyrov special police regiment in Grozny, leaving four individuals with minor injuries, Chechnya's head Ramzan Kadyrov stated on his Telegram channel.

Aftermath of the strike

- A drone was downed above the barracks of the Kadyrov special police regiment in Grozny.

- Fragments of the drone damaged the roof of one of the barrack buildings.

- A small fire ignited but was swiftly extinguished.

- The building sustained no significant damage.

Injuries

- Kadyrov reported that four guard soldiers sustained minor injuries.

- Air defenses destroyed 16 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight across Russian regions, the Defense Ministry reported.

- According to the ministry, four UAVs were destroyed over the Kursk Region, one over the Chechen Republic, three over the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, and eight over the Republic of Crimea.
