Russian airlines are now making direct flights to Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailan

MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. Russia will expand the network of direct flights and Mir payment system rollout in Asian nations, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko told TASS.

Russia "considers that the expansion of the route network in countries of the region [Asia] has the demand," the high-ranking diplomat said. "We are confident that connection of partners to our Mir payment system would make the stay of Russian tourists abroad even more comfortable," he noted.

Russian airlines are now making direct flights to Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand, "which facilitates growth of the tourist flow to these countries," he added.
