Russia’s exports of dairy products remain at $400 mln in 2022, says minister

CIS countries remained traditional importers of Russian dairy products as they accounted for over 90% of supplies to foreign markets, Dmitry Patrushev noted

MOSCOW, January 24. /TASS/. Russia’s exports of dairy products amounted to around $400 mln in 2022, with supplies to CIS countries accounting for 90%, Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev told a conference on Tuesday.

"In 2022, despite all difficulties, exports did not decrease, standing at around $400 mln," he said, adding that "it is necessary to make sure that this trend persists."

CIS countries remained traditional importers of Russian dairy products as they accounted for over 90% of supplies to foreign markets, the minister noted. "That said, of course, we will work on continuing and expanding the geography of supplies of our products, our exports. Of course, China, the countries of the Persian Gulf are our key markets, and we also look positively at Egypt," he explained.
