Difficult to expect major peace talks under Zelensky, former Ukrainian PM says

Nikolai Azarov noted that the scenario of "Vladimir Zelensky stepping down and an interim government being formed at the helm for a transition period will be the best"

MOSCOW, May 18. /TASS/. No serious talks on resolving the Ukraine conflict can be expected under Vladimir Zelensky, former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov told TASS.

The ex-premier agreed with TASS that the likelihood of major peace talks any time soon is low.

"I agree - until Zelensky is removed and a more or less sane regime is put in place. I have repeatedly said that the scenario of Zelensky stepping down and an interim government being formed at the helm for a transition period and, first of all, getting rid of Nazism under the supervision of an international organization will be the best," Azarov argued.
