Ukraine receives $74 bln of Western financing in 2022-2023 — PM

Ukrainian officials admit that they can hardly cover the country’s military expenses, with the rest of financing coming from Western partners

MOSCOW, February 25. /TASS/. Ukraine received $74 billion from Western countries in 2022-2023, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.

"In 2022 and 2023, we attracted 74 billion US dollars in external funding," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky repeatedly calls on Western countries to support Kiev. Ukrainian officials admit that they can hardly cover the country’s military expenses, with the rest of financing coming from Western partners.
