Russian woman who flew from New York to Paris without ticket released from US custody

NEW YORK, December 7. /TASS/. A Russian national who earlier flew from New York to Paris without a ticket has been released from US custody, CNN reports.

According to the broadcaster, Svetlana Dali, 57, is charged with one count of being a stowaway on an aircraft and faces up to five years in prison.

She was released without paying bail "but with more than a dozen conditions." In particular, the judge ruled that she "cannot go to airports, must submit to GPS monitoring, surrender any travel documents and <...> must also abide by a curfew and be evaluated and submit to any recommended mental health treatment."

In late November, Dali bypassed security at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York and managed to board a Delta Air Lines flight to Paris without a boarding pass. She was taken into custody upon returning to the US.
