MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Hungary’s Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto discussed cooperation in the energy sphere on Thursday, the Russian Foreign Ministry informed.

"Heads of foreign services exchanged opinions on current issues of bilateral cooperation, including cooperation in the energy sphere, and discussed certain aspects of interaction at international floors," the Ministry said after the telephone conversation between the Ministers.

It was reported earlier today that the Hungarian Government notified the national legislative assembly about the intention to extend the service life of operating power units of the Paks nuclear power plant built in 80s, where the Russian nuclear fuel is used.
