NEW YORK, June 19. /TASS/. Senior US officials are preparing for the possibility of a strike on Iran in the coming days as Israel and the Islamic Republic continue to exchange fire, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.

Some people familiar with the matter pointed to potential plans for a weekend strike. One of the sources said that top leaders at a number of federal agencies had begun getting ready for an attack.

The US administration has not yet confirmed this report.
