ANKARA, February 14. /TASS/. Rescuers in Turkey’s Adiyaman province are working to rescue an 18-year-old young man named Muhammad, who had been lying under the rubble for 197 hours, TRT TV reported live on Tuesday.

The miners involved in the search and rescue operation heard a voice coming from under the rubble of a six-storey building during the night. For several hours they worked their way towards the survivor, sorting through the rubble to pull him out from under the pile of concrete. The rescuers managed to put a piece of thick cloth under the survivor to pull him out from under the rubble.

The TV channel reports that Muhammad was on the third floor of the building at the time of collapse. He had been under the rubble for more than eight days and was very weak. He is suffering from poor blood circulation, and doctors have put him on a drip right inside the collapsed house. Paramedics are ready to take the boy to hospital immediately and keep fighting for his life.
