MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Russian TV host Ksenia Sobchak’s commercial director Kirill Sukhanov was detained during reception of a 800,000 ruble transfer from Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov, according to the information revealed during a court hearing on Sukhanov’s arrest warrant.
"Sukhanov was detained at the Regent restaurant while receiving a 800,000 ruble transfer from the victim," the investigator said.
Previously, he said that Chemezov is the victim in the case.
According to case materials announced in the court, Andrey Baldukhayev filed the complaint to the police in Chemezov's name. Baldukhayev was also the one who engaged in negotiations with Sobchak’s director regarding removal of Telegram posts about the Rostec CEO. Sukhanov stated his readiness to apologize to the victim and admit that he demanded only 800,000 rubles. Previously, the investigator stated that the defendants demanded 11 million rubles from Chemezov, but Sukhanov does not admit his guilt.
According to the case materials, the perpetrators demanded 11 million rubles from Chemezov for non-dissemination of discrediting information thorough a Telegram channel. Previously, a source in the law enforcement told TASS that Sobchak herself, who fled from Russia, is a suspect in this case.
