MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Russian TV host Ksenia Sobchak hopes that the arrest of her commercial director Kirill Sukhanov for extortion of 11 million rubles from Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov is a misunderstanding that will be "promptly sorted out."

"I don’t believe it all, and I hope that it will promptly be sorted out and they will make sure that all this is some kind of nonsense," she said on her Telegram channel Wednesday.

"If not, then, obviously, this is a crackdown on my editorial office - the last free editorial office in Russia that had to be pressed. I hope that it is not that case and all this is indeed a misunderstanding," Sobchak added.
