MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has granted citizenship to Cyril Gaucher, a French national who was dismissed from his post as deputy mayor of the commune of Talant, southern France, after serving as an observer during elections in Russia.
The respective presidential decree has been published.
The commune of Talant is located in the Burgundy region. Gaucher visited Russia in 2024 to observe the presidential elections.
