KURSK, March 13. /TASS/. Atrocities committed by Ukrainian troops in the border areas of the Kursk Region were not isolated incidents but rather systemic, Alexander Khinshtein, the region's acting governor, stated in an interview with TASS.

"With regret, I must emphasize that these instances of absolute inhumanity and brutal cruelty exhibited by Ukrainian troops and mercenaries were not random; they were systemic," he said.

Khinshtein further revealed that nearly every evacuated resident had a harrowing story to share about the Ukrainian military's atrocities. One man recounted how a Ukrainian drone struck the basement of his home, resulting in the death of his son.

"I spoke with a woman who shared the tragic story of her father's final moments. Others mentioned that very few of their fellow villagers survived to see the day of their liberation. I have heard accounts of Ukrainian soldiers indiscriminately shooting and tossing grenades into basements, killing civilians without cause," he noted.
