Russian air defense forces shoot down Ukrainian drone near Moscow

There were no casualties or damage at the site where the debris fell

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Russian air defenses shot down a fixed-wing Ukrainian drone above the Moscow Region’s Podolsk urban district on Wednesday morning, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The Kiev regime’s attempt to carry out a terror attack involving a fixed-wing drone was thwarted at 07:30 a.m. Moscow time (4:30 a.m. GMT - TASS) on November 29. On-duty air defense units destroyed the Ukrainian drone above the territory of the Moscow Region’s Podolsk urban district," the ministry said.

There were no casualties or damage at the site where the debris fell, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said, citing preliminary information. Emergency teams are working at the scene.
