MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. Russian gas supplies to Europe in January-November 2024 stood at almost 50 billion cubic meters, which is approximately 18-20% higher than in 2023, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told the Rossiya-24 television channel.
"If we look at the volumes delivered to Europe this year, they will be roughly 18-20% higher than last year. In total, probably around 50 billion cubic meters of pipeline gas and liquefied natural gas were delivered to Europe in the 11 [full] months [of 2024]," he said.
According to Novak, the deliveries continued despite sanctions.
"From the standpoint of logistics and price, the Russian gas is the most economically advantageous," he added.
