MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/. Agricultural production in Russia in January-October 2024 decreased by 3.8% compared to the same period last year to 7.76 trillion rubles ($68.58 bln), according to preliminary data from the Russian State Statistics Service (Rosstat).

In October, the figure was 1.335 trillion rubles ($11.8 bln).

In general, in January - October 2024, in farms of all categories, production of cattle and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) increased by 3.1% to 13.4 mln tons, milk - by 0.6% to 28.9 mln tons, while egg production decreased by 1% and amounted to 38.9 bln pieces.
