Norway’s Bergen Engines resumes deliveries of turbine parts to Russia — newspaper

"We are talking about contracts that were signed several years ago," CEO Jon Eric Rev said

STOCKHOLM, November 21. /TASS/. Bergen Engines, a Norway-based company, has resumed supplies of gas turbine repair parts to Russia, the Bergens Tidende newspaper said on Monday.

The company has started supplying its products to Russia again in order to honor long-term contractual agreements, the newspaper informed. The imported parts will be used to repair 22 gas turbines supplied to the Russian Copper Company in 2019.

"The decision was made after consultation with our owners in the United Kingdom," CEO Jon Eric Rev said. "We are talking about contracts that were signed several years ago," he added.
