Zelensky plans to meet with Trump on sidelines of G7 summit — Ukrainian official

During Andrey Yermak’s visit to Washington, the Ukrainian delegation was working on a potential meeting between the two

NEW YORK, June 6. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky’s chief of staff Andrey Yermak has stated that Zelensky plans to meet with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of this month’s Group of Seven (G7) summit in Canada, the Bloomberg news agency reported.

During Yermak’s visit to Washington, the Ukrainian delegation was working on a potential meeting between the two.

"Our visit was preparation, among other things, for a meeting between Zelensky and Trump on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Canada," Yermak said in a televised interview.

This year, the G7 summit will be held in Kananaskis, a resort area in Alberta, Canada, on June 15-17.
