Russia’s FAB bomb strike destroys Ukrainian army platoon in western Donetsk region

The FAB bomb strike also destroyed Ukrainian military equipment, including Baba-Yaga hexacopter drones, the source added

DONETSK, June 17. /TASS/. A Russian FAB bomb strike destroyed a Ukrainian army platoon and operators of the elite Madyar’s Birds UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) unit withdrawn from Komar to Voskresenka in the west of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), a source in Russia’s defense circles told TASS on Tuesday.

"A FAB bomb strike on Voskresenka eliminated a platoon of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the enemy’s 141st infantry brigade and operators of the 414th separate unmanned systems brigade known as Madyar’s Birds. These are the forces that the Ukrainian military managed to withdraw from Komar," the defense source said.

The FAB bomb strike also destroyed Ukrainian military equipment, including Baba-Yaga hexacopter drones, he added.

TASS reported earlier, citing defense circles that the Ukrainian military had pulled back the remaining part of the battlegroup from Komar to Voskresenka at the border with the Dnepropetrovsk Region.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on June 13 that Russian troops had liberated the settlement of Komar in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
