Moscow can see through West’s ‘crocodile tears’ about Ukraine — Russia’s UN envoy

"You have no idea how cynical and duplicitous your efforts look. But this is now understood perfectly well in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America," Vasily Nebenzya emphasized

UNITED NATIONS, October 31. /TASS/. Russia can see through Western "crocodile tears" about the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, said Russia's envoy to the UN Vasily Nebenzya.

"We understand perfectly well the true value of your efforts and the crocodile tears you are trying to shed today. You have no idea how cynical and duplicitous your efforts look. But this is now understood perfectly well in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America," he said at a UN Security Council meeting on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, addressing Western countries. "Here’s our advice to you: Instead of this cynical and duplicitous spectacle, do something good for the Ukrainian people, namely, do not let the criminal neo-Nazi regime of [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky sacrifice the entire Ukrainian people to the unfeasible geopolitical plans of the United States to weaken Russia. The head of the Kiev clique is getting very close to this."
