MOSCOW, February 3. /TASS/. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov believes that it will be wrong to draw parallels between protests in Russia and Belarus, because the situations in the two countries are different and the causes that triggered protest activity are different, too.

"I would not draw any parallels here. True, there are some similar traits. I am referring to the provocateurs. Yes, they do exist," Peskov said. "But at the same time, we are different countries. We have different situations, the causes are different, so I would not make comparisons."
