MOSCOW, November 14. /TASS/. Interests of national companies and motorists will be the priority for the government upon the return of foreign automakers to the Russian market, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"This refers to saturation of our market, to competition because competition leads to a price decline. The main point are interests of our motorists, our consumers, so that they can receive goods of higher quality when paying less," Peskov said, commenting on the possible return of Japanese and European cars to the Russian market.
"The state should do everything possible" for the optimal situation in the market, the Kremlin Spokesman noted. "Not forgetting about its own producers at the same time. There is fine-tuned balance but it is always needed," Peskov added.
