MELITOPOL, November 14. /TASS/. Russian troops have consolidated a portion of the frontline on the Vremevka direction in the Zaporozhye Region between Novodarovka and Rovnopol, advancing westward from these settlements, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the Russian Civic Chamber’s commission on sovereignty, patriotic projects, and veteran support, told TASS.
"We are advancing westward from Novodarovka and Rovnopol. The stretch of the frontline between these settlements has been almost completely straightened," he said. The official added that the freed area exceeds 12 square kilometers (4.6 square miles).
On November 13, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces had liberated the settlement of Rovnopol in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), located near the administrative border with the Zaporozhye Region.
