Zelensky will lead Ukraine to civil or nuclear war rather than surrender power, legislator

Alexander Dubinsky explained that Zelensky would by no means benefit from the end of the conflict, because in that case, its net effects would have to be assessed

MOSCOW, November 14. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky will not voluntarily agree to hold elections in Ukraine; he would rather steer the country into civil or nuclear war, opposition-minded Verkhovna Rada member Alexander Dubinsky has said.

"Zelensky will never agree to call an election of his own accord. My opinion is this: he will lead the country into a civil or nuclear war, rather than agree to elections. He and his sponsors think alike," Dubinsky wrote on his Telegram channel.

He explained that Zelensky would by no means benefit from the end of the conflict, because in that case, its net effects would have to be assessed.

"It will be necessary to declare losses. He will never manage to escape the blood he has shed. Even now," Dubinsky said, recalling the scale of corruption and the Zelensky entourage’s profits from the hostilities.

Dubinsky is an independent MP. In the spring of 2020, he was placed under US sanctions for making public audio recordings compromising Joe Biden. He was later expelled from the parliamentary faction of the pro-presidential party, Servant of the People. Last November, he was arrested on charges of treason and is being held in a pre-trial detention center. Earlier, he repeatedly emphasized that Kiev should start negotiating with Moscow to save people's lives and the country's future. At the same time, he suspects that Zelensky and his office chief, Andrey Yermak, will put obstacles in the way of any efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine.
