MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. In 2025-2027, the yearly output of new Lada cars at the St. Petersburg plant might reach 50,000 - 70,000 vehicles, the press service of Avtovaz said on Tuesday.

"If the market continues to improve, production of new Lada cars in St. Petersburg might reach 50,000 - 70,000 vehicles per year in 2025-2027," the company said.

In the second half of 2023, Avtovaz plans to begin car manufacturing at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg. In 2023, the volume of cap production could reach 10,000 vehicles.

Avtovaz announced the launch of a car production project at the former Nissan facility in St. Petersburg in December 2022.
