Nord Stream sabotage is beginning of the end of European energy infrastructure — Putin

As the Russian leader said, such methods, definitely inflict colossal damage on the European economy

MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. The sabotage at the Nord Stream pipelines is essentially the destruction of common European energy infrastructure and such acts cause enormous damage to the European economy, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday at a meeting with the heads of delegations attending a session of the Council of Heads of Security and Special Services of CIS countries.

"In fact, we are talking about the destruction of the pan-European energy infrastructure. This is being done despite the fact that such, so to speak, methods, definitely inflict colossal damage on the European economy; significantly worsen the living conditions of millions of people. Actually, there is silence about who did this, those interested in that," the head of state said.

"Certain countries have long used blackmail, harassment and intimidation all over the Commonwealth," the President noted. "Attempts continue to implement scenarios of ‘color revolutions,’ the flag of nationalism and extremism is being actively used, and armed conflicts are being fueled, which directly endanger the security of all CIS members," Putin added.
