Ukrainian nationalists, foreign mercenaries violate international law, Putin says

These crimes include murder of civilians and using people, including children, as human shields, the Russian President specified

MOSCOW, April 25. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed out numerous violations of international law by Ukrainian nationalists and foreign mercenaries.

"During the special military operation, mass facts of blatant violation of international law by Ukrainian neo-Nazi groups and foreign mercenaries were revealed," the head of state said, speaking at the Prosecutor General’s Office expanded board meeting Monday.

"We are talking about murder of civilians, using people, including children, as human shields, and other crimes," Putin said.

According to the President, "blatant provocations against Russian Armed Forces, including via foreign mass and social media, require scrupulous investigation as well."

"It is also necessary to thwart any crimes on the Russian territory in the most decisive way," Putin underscored.
