French ship downs two Yemeni drones over Red Sea

Both drones were intercepted about 110 kilometers off the coast of Yemen

PARIS, December 10. /TASS/. A French frigate shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles flying over the Red Sea from Yemen, the General Staff of the French armed forces reported.

"On December 9, the French Navy's multirole frigate Languedoc downed two drones flying directly at it from the Yemeni coast," the statement said.

One drone was shot down at about 9:30 p.m. Paris time Saturday (8:30 p.m. GMT), the second at about 11:30 p.m. Paris time Saturday (10:30 p.m. GMT). Both drones were intercepted about 110 kilometers off the coast of Yemen.
