Russia’s tennis chief Tarpishchev re-elected as member of International Olympic Committee

The election procedure of IOC officials took place during the organization’s 144th session in Greece running on March 18-21

COSTA NAVARINO /Greece/, March 20. /TASS/. President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF) Shamil Tarpishchev was reelected on Thursday for another term as a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The election procedure of IOC officials took place during the organization’s 144th session in Greece running on March 18-21.

Tarpishchev, 77, has been holding the post of the president Russian Tennis Federation since 1999. He was enlisted as a member of the International Olympic Committee in 1994.
