According to the organizers, one of the main goals of the busy program is to attract the attention of foreign partners and boost the local market.

“Specialists in fabrics and materials from different regions of China and other countries were invited to participate in the festival,” said a representative of the regional administration of tourism, culture, broadcasting and sports. “We aim to attract valuable rarities from all over the world, to ensure global between national cultures with Hainan. We need to strive for the thousand-year cultural heritage of our island to reveal its originality and become an influential force of global importance under the excellent conditions created at Hainan's free trade port".

This comprehensive cultural event will include art exhibitions, light shows, exciting contests, and fashion shows. The festival, which presents the best examples of embroidery from India, Malaysia, Thailand and other countries — participants of the international Belt and Road Initiative, has a unique flavor thanks to the products of the Hainan Li people — the autochthonous population that makes brocade included in the list intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO.
