PATRIOT PARK /Moscow Region/, May 22. /TASS/. Preliminary trials of the latest short-range surface-to-air missile system (Krona SAM System) are proceeding according to plan, Kalashnikov Group’s CEO Alan Lushnikov told reporters.

"The trials are being conducted jointly with the customer. We have entered the preliminary testing stage at the range. There are running tests, climatic tests, mechanical tests, firing tests - the whole program. Everything is currently proceeding on schedule," Lushnikov said.

He added that he is confident the tests will be completed within the shortest possible period of time, after which the company will move on to discussing serial production schedules with the customer.
