NATO analyzed ammunition stockpiles, plans to increase them — Stoltenberg

"We will increase our targets for munitions stockpiles," the organization’s Secretary General

BRUSSELS, February 21. /TASS/. NATO has conducted a comprehensive inventory of its ammunition stockpiles and will formulate new goals to push its industry to increase their production, the organization’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Tuesday at a press conference with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.

"We have completed an extraordinary survey of munitions stockpiles," he said, "We met with defence industry last fall and continue to engage with them. And we will increase our targets for munitions stockpiles."
