ANKARA, February 9. /TASS/. Turkey’s earthquake death toll has risen to 16,546, the country’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Thursday.

"The number of people killed in the devastating earthquakes that rocked our country on Monday has reached 16,546. As many as 66,132 people suffered injuries," he said in a speech in the Kilis province.
