NEW YORK, March 31. /TASS/. The United States’ National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) still expects the necessary papers from Russia to implement a seat barter agreement, NASA’s Associate Administrator of the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate Kathy Lueders said on Thursday.
"At some point, if we don't get the paperwork out of the Russian government and over to our side of the government <...> we won't have enough time to be able to support crew training and operations for a Crew-5," she noted. "But <...> we still feel like that's our long-term logistics strategy," Lueders added.
Earlier, Russia and the US were expected to launch a seat barter agreement in the fall of 2022.
