MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. Russian president’s special envoy for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev has described Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevicius’ remarks that there is no evidence of Russia allegedly plopping an attack on EU countries as "unusually wise."
"The unusually wise words from a Lithuanian PM who openly says that the "scare with Russia" EU hysteria is not based on ANY facts. The EU BU bureaucrats need Russia as a bogeyman to distract from their terrible failures on migration, the economy, woke policies and warmongering," he wrote on X.
Earlir, addressing a news conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Sinkevicius said that intelligence services have no real evidence of Russia hatching aggressive plans against EU countries.
