MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Russia and Hungary have not yet defined joint projects in the energy sector, but the Hungarian side, namely oil and gas company Mol, is interested in oil and gas projects in Russia, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.
"New projects have not been defined, but in general we are also considering the expansion of cooperation between our countries in the energy sector," he said.
"We will work on different options. We maintain a positive outlook about expanding cooperation with our colleagues. <...> Mol is an oil and gas company, and it is interested in working in both sectors. The company is interested in projects that have been abandoned by other foreign companies," Novak added.
After his visit to Moscow, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that he considers the work of the Hungarian oil company Mol in Russia to be successful and expects that its activities will be expanded.
