BRUSSELS, February 15. /TASS/. NATO defense chiefs have agreed to work intensively with the allies’ defense industry to increase the production of ammunition, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a news conference on Wednesday.

"Ministers also addressed ways to boost industrial capacity and replenish stockpiles of armaments and munitions. NATO Allies are providing unprecedented support to help Ukraine push back against Russia’s aggression. At the same time, this is consuming an enormous quantity of Allied ammunition, and depleting our stockpiles," he said at a press conference following a meeting of the organization’s defense ministers in Brussels.
