DPR and LPR militias report over 125 Ukrainian militants killed in past day

The units of the Republics also destroyed several tanks, drones, artillery cannons, armored and motor vehicles

DONETSK/LUGANSK, November 27./TASS/. The Ukrainian military suffered over 40 casualties in battles with the units of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in the past day, the press service of the DPR defense ministry reported on Sunday.

"Losses in manpower of the enemy made up over 40 people," says the report posted on the Telegram channel of the DPR people’s militia.

Besides, two T-72M1 tanks of the Ukrainian forces were destroyed in the past day in the region, along with eight armored and motor vehicles. Three drones were hit in mid-air.

According to the Spokesman for the LPR People’s Militia Ivan Filiponenko, the Ukrainian military suffered roughly 85 casualties in battles with fighters of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) in the past day.

"In the past 24 hours, the enemy sustained heavy losses in manpower and military equipment as a result of active offensive operations by LPR people’s militia forces. They eliminated up to 85 personnel, three tanks, six armored personnel carriers, two artillery cannons, an unmanned aerial vehicles and 20 special motor vehicles," the press office of the LPR people’s militia quoted the spokesman as saying on its Telegram channel.

In the past day, LPR field engineers de-mined over eight hectares, clearing away explosives planted by the Ukrainian military in the areas of the settlements of Gorodishche and Kreidyanoye in the republic’s Starobelsk district, the spokesman said.
