DONETSK, November 27. /TASS/. Flamethrower crews from a Pacific Fleet naval infantry assault unit of the Battlegroup East have wiped out two Ukrainian infantry groups near Velikaya Novosyolka in the Donbass region, a deputy commander told TASS.

"The [flamethrower] platoon commander adjusted platoon [fire] in a forest, and the crew destroyed an enemy infantry group using a flamethrower," the deputy commander with the call sign Alligator said.

Another enemy group was destroyed several hours later. "We advanced further and detected another group. The commander adjusted fire again, and we wiped it out," the officer added.

The crew uses longer-range rocket-propelled infantry flamethrowers, he specified.
