No deals with Kiev can be carried out without Ukraine’s full denazification — Medvedchuk

The politician said that these neo-Nazi gangs were created as a vanguard against everything related to Russia

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. No deals with Vladimir Zelensky’s regime can be implemented as long as neo-Nazi gangs are free in Ukraine, and the government has no leverage over them, said head of the Other Ukraine movement, ex-leader of the banned Opposition Platform - for Life party Viktor Medvedchuk.

"[US President Donald] Trump must understand that agreements with the Ukrainian authorities cannot be implemented in principle, since this government does not have the real powers and capabilities to fulfill any deals while the country is dominated by neo-Nazi gangs. <...> Without complete denazification of Zelensky's Ukraine, without complete destruction of the Nazi ideology and getting rid of those who are its bearers, no deals will be executed, and unfortunately there is no alternative to this," Medvedchuk wrote in a column he contributed to the Smotrim.ru media platform.

He said that these neo-Nazi gangs were created as a vanguard against everything related to Russia. And today, the politician noted, they are dispersing anti-Trump rhetoric in the country. According to him, these formations are armed and do not die at the front, but are ready to speak out against Zelensky at any moment.

"Today, Zelensky can promise the United States anything, but if the agreements disagree with the opinion of the neo-Nazis in Ukraine, they will be disrupted by these radicals, since there is no real government in the country that would oppose them, and there is no one to implement peace deals," Medvedchuk stressed.

He said that Zelensky's predecessor, Pyotr Poroshenko (on Russian financial watchdog Rosfinmonitoring’s list of persons involved in extremist activities or terrorism) could not cope with the neo-Nazis. "For sustainable peace, Trump does not need to organize negotiations, but to open a second front. After all, after the 2014 coup, neo-Nazis disrupted any peace initiatives under both Poroshenko and Zelensky. And every time they get stronger, while the state institutions are inactive today," the politician believes.

Moscow has repeatedly stressed that the denazification of Ukraine is one of the goals of the special military operation.
