European politicians repeat their position on Ukraine like mantra, says Kremlin

"Russian President Vladimir Putin told Olaf Scholz in detail about Russia's vision of what is happening, about possible prospects for the development of the situation," Dmitry Peskov said

MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's position on Ukraine is well known, it is repeated by European politicians "like a mantra" several times a day, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"[Russian President Vladimir] Putin told Scholz in detail about our vision of what is happening, about possible prospects for the development of the situation and so on. And Scholz, in fact, reiterated his position, which is well known, which is repeated as a mantra by all European representatives several times a day," the spokesman told VGTRK reporter Pavel Zarubin.

Earlier today, Scholz called Putin. Previously, the leaders spoke on the phone on December 2, 2022. During the current conversation, according to the Kremlin, they discussed Ukraine, the problem in the Middle East, bilateral relations between Moscow and Berlin. The president and the chancellor agreed that their aides would remain in contact.
