Russian troops organizing logistics, ammo delivery in Kupyansk outskirts — military expert

"Logistics is being organized to enable our troops to retain their positions they are trying to secure," Andrey Marochko explained

MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Russian troops have begun to organize logistics and ammunition delivery after storming into the outskirts of Kupyansk in the Kharkov Region, military expert Andrey Marochko said during a live broadcast on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station on Friday.

"Now our troops are no longer at approaches to Kupyansk. They are already in the industrial zone, in its outskirts <…> Some ammunition has already been delivered to the positions where our guys are entrenched. Logistics is being organized to enable our troops to retain their positions they are trying to secure," the military expert said.

The Ukrainian military command has committed "all possible forces" to hold back the advance of Russian troops in Kupyansk but Russian army units have also managed to move forward along a railway near the town, thus expanding their control area, he specified.

"As unconfirmed data suggests [Ukrainian Army Commander-in-Chief Alexander] Syrsky is in Kharkov, personally controlling the situation in Kupyansk," the military expert said.

Marochko told TASS on November 14 that Russian troops had advanced along a railway near Kupyansk and stormed into the town’s outskirts.
