MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. The Ukrainian battlegroup has been entrapped by Russian forces in several pockets in the Kurakhovo area in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and is deprived of regular supplies, military expert Andrey Marochko said during a live broadcast on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station on Friday.
"Ukrainian militants are attempting to get out of the entrapment [in the Kurakhovo area]. Moreover, they have been caught in several entrapments at once. The Ukrainian battlegroup has been actually cut off regular logistics in the area of Kurakhovo," the military expert said.
The Ukrainian battlegroup’s supplies have been impaired in the Kurakhovo area after Russian forces placed a road section west of that community under their gunfire control, he clarified.
Ukrainian soldiers are "in a dire situation" near Kurakhovo and the enemy ‘is hastily attempting to leave the area where it can be encircled," the military expert said.
