MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces lost over 300 troops and two Bradley infantry fighting vehicles in the Kursk Region in the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"Over the past day, the Ukrainian armed forces lost over 300 troops. A tank, two US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, two armored personnel carriers, four armored combat vehicles, eight motor vehicles and two electronic warfare stations were destroyed," the statement reads.
Units of Russia’s Battlegroup North carried out offensive operations, defeating the forces of a heavy mechanized brigade, five mechanized brigades, three air assault brigades, a marine brigade and four territorial defense brigades near Alexandria, Viktorovka, Kurilovka, Lebedevka, Leonidovo, Martynovka, Nikolayevka, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Russkoye Porechnoye, Sverdlikovo and Cherkasskaya Konopelka. Two counterattacks by enemy assault teams were repelled.
Tactical and army aircraft and artillery forces hit enemy troops and equipment near Alexandria, Viktorovka, Guyevo, Kositsa, Kurilovka, Lebedevka, Leonidovo, Malaya Loknya, Martynovka, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Novaya Sorochina, Rubanshchina, Russkoye Porechnoye, Sverdlikovo, Cherkasskoye Porechnoye and Yuzhny, as well as near Basovka, Belovody, Vodolagi, Zhuravka and Loknya in the Sumy Region.
