Russian deputy foreign minister discusses Middle East situation with Israeli ambassador

The diplomats also discussed some issues of Russian-Israeli relations

MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Borisenko and Israeli ambassador to Moscow Oded Joseph have discussed the tense military and political situation in the Middle East, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

"The conversation focused on the ongoing tense military and political situation in the Middle East region," the ministry said.

It said the diplomats also discussed some issues of Russian-Israeli relations, including joint efforts to preserve the historical memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War.
